Baltimore scene crossover act with a new 2026 album, Ground Control booking and a dense Southeast route.

Artist Bio

Angel Du$t are a Baltimore hardcore-punk band founded around vocalist Justice Tripp and members of the wider Turnstile and Trapped Under Ice scene. Their catalog stretches beyond hardcore into power pop, acoustic rock and deliberately loose genre experiments, particularly on Pretty Buff, YAK and Brand New Soul. Ground Control Touring handles North America and most other territories, with THE·TEAM covering Europe and the UK. They played Shaky in 2022 and have an Atlanta date in October 2026, which should be processed by the existing timing rules.

Signal report

Why This Forecast Works

Baltimore scene crossover act with a new 2026 album, Ground Control booking and a dense Southeast route.

  • Punk/hardcore/post-punk discovery candidate researched for 2027 Shaky Forecast. Unknown fields remain unresolved rather than guessed.
  • Discovery Wave 04 research cutoff: 2026-09-22.
  • Atlanta/Southeast timing: Raleigh Sep. 29; Atlanta Oct. 1; Jacksonville/Miami/Bradenton/Orlando Oct. 2-5.
  • Historical appearances: 2022.
  • Research-only library record. It is intentionally excluded from scoring and the public Top 100 until current evidence is reviewed.
  • Evidence researched through 2026-09-22. Unknown fields are intentionally not guessed.
  • Batch 05 research cutoff: 2026-09-22.
  • Atlanta timing: Atlanta, Oct. 1, 2026 at The Masquerade; late-2026 market activity, not automatically a 2027 conflict.
  • Current release/touring/festival research completed. Positive conditions are source-backed; absence statements mean no qualifying current/2027 evidence was verified in this pass.
  • Current-activity batch 01 research gaps now: Verify image credit/rights metadata; Verify management; Verify record label.
  • Merged territory detail: THE·TEAM covers Europe and the UK; Ground Control Touring remains the canonical North American booking value.
  • Canonicalized 2026-10-04: merged the duplicate angel-dust record into this exact-name Angel Du$t record; no research, image, or provenance was discarded.
  • Research Batch 08 (COMPLETE): This applies only to the canonical Angel Du$t record; the former duplicate is not recreated.
  • Research Batch 08: listed research gaps resolved.
